Well...while my husband is away shooting crows...and I mean with a camera (you will see that soon) I thought I would take just a second to say Bye to my blogger site. In about 2 days...I am getting a new blog. Revamped and all! I'm pretty excited about it. We are also redoing the studio, which means that everyone will have to come and check it out! Kody is going to start on it next week. We are getting new floors, and ALL new pictures and albums! Just ordered some today! Anyways...this is short and sweet and I will post my blogs new domain pretty soon!

As some of you might have noticed, I didn't blog for I guess a week, maybe 2. ALOT has happened around here. My husband, Kody, is now working full time with me. We couldn't be happier about this decision, and to be honest I love working with my husband. We have always been the type to be able to be around each other alot, so I'm gonna guess things will be fine. And on the days that he is getting on my nerves...well then he can go fishing :]

On another note, this post was supposed to be about my new nephew! His name is Hunter Cole, and he was born March 19. He weighed 8lbs. 4 oz. and was 19 in. long :] Such a cutie too! I'm in love with this kid! Here he is enjoy...I'm gonna enjoy and go see the little toot!

I love everything about them, and this one was no exception. Nicole & Michael's story is so sweet and simple. She's the girl next door...literally. She lives next to door to Michael and they fell in love. You can tell that they are too. I loved this wedding. Family, friends, and love. What a great night! These are just a couple. Ok. So kisses and disses has changed names, thanks to my wonderful cousin Katy. It is now Hypes and Gripes. I thought that was the best name. Anyways...on with the show...

Hypes
*I dropped my taxes off! That is the best hype of them all! That means that Sheila is working her magic :]
*I booked alot of appts. and business is getting really busy!
*I have been staying on track with orders and sessions...be proud Mom!
*We are in the process of revamping the studio. I love my studio, and when people come in they go crazy over it, but I see it everyday...and I like change! So a little revamp never hurt anyone!

Gripes
*This is gonna be short...my one gripe about this week is that I have been sick. I started feeling bad on Thursday...and I STILL do not feel that much better! Let's hope that things get better around here FAST! :]

I know that was short and sweet...but my memory has not been much lately...because I have been sitting in front of the TV and sleeping! Being sick in NO fun yall!! I can't wait to feel better!

He wasn't into taking pictures for very long, but we got some of the cutest pictures! Sometimes I forget how much I like taking pictures of kids. They can be unpredictable, but you know that's what makes them fun :]

Kisses and Disses

Ok I'm gonna be a major copy catter :] My favorite photog lives in Cali and she does a blog where she has kisses and disses. Kisses and Disses are pretty much good things and bad things that have happened during my week. I will do them on Fridays...but I do need a new name. I like the concept, but a new name is required :] I don't wanna copy too much!

So for the week...

Kisses:
*I cooked 2 meals in the croc pot. (Does croc have a k at the end?) They were AWESOME and so easy. I don't claim to be a cook...EVER. So this was a huge deal for me.
*I am pretty much caught up on all my Ellens. This just happens to be the highlight of my day. Come home, watch Ellen. Pretty much like that. So I have a been a little behind, and now I am almost to the right day...I will be there for sure by Monday.
*I got new Fleur de lis. I'm on the verge of becoming obsessed with them. If you aren't sure what this is, it's a flower looking thing that is the symbol for the New Orleans Saints. I think they are beautiful...and even though I have never been to Louisiana (sad I know...and I have a best friend that lives there!) I am falling in love with all things LA.
*I have accomplished, and stayed pretty much on task. Which is a big deal for me! :]

Disses:
*My cat, Molly is in heat. Yuck, and it makes me sad, because now she is going to have to go have surgery!
*My house is no where from being clean, and I have cleaned pretty much every night. Would someone please tell me where are this junk comes from?
*I didn't get my WII fit...YET!
*I STILL haven't got my taxes finished up...GRRRRRRR...I'm ready for them to be out of my hair! I am going to work on them and I have made an appt. with my wonderful tax lady, Sheila. So...I will be going to see her and getting them done! YAY for 2009!

So there you go. Kisses and Disses...soon to be renamed. I will decide on a name when I get my new blog :] So for now...kisses and disses.

My wow moment of the day!

I have no idea if this will work...but if you are a photographer you need to watch this video by Zack Arias. Amazing. Sometimes I feel like I'm still trying to find my voice and all to often I find myself comparing myself with other photographers. I have to remember that people like my work. They like it because it is different and really it's what they are wanting. I assume this because they keep coming to me. I feel like I have turned over a new leaf this year and I'm very thankful for all the learning I did last year. I plan on going to maybe a workshop this year...learning some new and different things...and I'm really excited about everything. I started off this day has having NO motivation...and after this video I feel totally different. Thank you Zack!

Well today has been an utterly wonderful day. I never blog about personal stuff...I don't know why but I never seem too...so I thought for this year I am going to. I love to blog and my goal this year is to take more pictures of family. Sometimes when I get off work I forget about my camera! (which sounds crazy, but I do)...so this year I'm going to blog more about my family :] This first picture is Hunter...my cousin Sallee's little boy and the feet are Kody's (my husband) and Jon's (Sallee's husband)

Happy New Year to everyone!

Hi Everyone!

I will be posting more pictures soon. We are getting really busy and having lots of fun taking new pictures to post on here. I wanted to blog really quick though about weddings. We have been getting alot of inquiries for weddings for the 2009 wedding season. I just wanted to let everyone know that we work on a first come, first serve basis. So if you called about a wedding on Monday and we weren't booked and you called back on Friday and we were that pretty much tells you how fast weddings book. I just wanted to let everyone know that...so the sooner you book...the better! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Summer...and soon to be a good start of school! If you are a Senior 2009 it is NOT too early to come in and get your pictures done! We love Seniors that come in early...we have already had a couple...so come visit! We have great deals.
