Kisses and Disses

Ok I'm gonna be a major copy catter :] My favorite photog lives in Cali and she does a blog where she has kisses and disses. Kisses and Disses are pretty much good things and bad things that have happened during my week. I will do them on Fridays...but I do need a new name. I like the concept, but a new name is required :] I don't wanna copy too much!

So for the week...

Kisses:
*I cooked 2 meals in the croc pot. (Does croc have a k at the end?) They were AWESOME and so easy. I don't claim to be a cook...EVER. So this was a huge deal for me.
*I am pretty much caught up on all my Ellens. This just happens to be the highlight of my day. Come home, watch Ellen. Pretty much like that. So I have a been a little behind, and now I am almost to the right day...I will be there for sure by Monday.
*I got new Fleur de lis. I'm on the verge of becoming obsessed with them. If you aren't sure what this is, it's a flower looking thing that is the symbol for the New Orleans Saints. I think they are beautiful...and even though I have never been to Louisiana (sad I know...and I have a best friend that lives there!) I am falling in love with all things LA.
*I have accomplished, and stayed pretty much on task. Which is a big deal for me! :]

Disses:
*My cat, Molly is in heat. Yuck, and it makes me sad, because now she is going to have to go have surgery!
*My house is no where from being clean, and I have cleaned pretty much every night. Would someone please tell me where are this junk comes from?
*I didn't get my WII fit...YET!
*I STILL haven't got my taxes finished up...GRRRRRRR...I'm ready for them to be out of my hair! I am going to work on them and I have made an appt. with my wonderful tax lady, Sheila. So...I will be going to see her and getting them done! YAY for 2009!

So there you go. Kisses and Disses...soon to be renamed. I will decide on a name when I get my new blog :] So for now...kisses and disses.

My wow moment of the day!

I have no idea if this will work...but if you are a photographer you need to watch this video by Zack Arias. Amazing. Sometimes I feel like I'm still trying to find my voice and all to often I find myself comparing myself with other photographers. I have to remember that people like my work. They like it because it is different and really it's what they are wanting. I assume this because they keep coming to me. I feel like I have turned over a new leaf this year and I'm very thankful for all the learning I did last year. I plan on going to maybe a workshop this year...learning some new and different things...and I'm really excited about everything. I started off this day has having NO motivation...and after this video I feel totally different. Thank you Zack!

Grayson

This is a sneak peek of Grayson's 1 month pictures. I took these yesterday and decided to take a look and see what we got. I almost fell out when I saw this picture...I loved it so much! His sister Presley has come to me since she was little like this also. It doesn't seem real that she is almost 2 now. Sorry that I haven't been blogging the last couple of days. We have a dance we are photographing tomorrow...so being the procrastinator that I am...I am trying to get ready for that. :] I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...I think I'll be ready to crash by Monday!

How beautiful is Morgan! She recently went to California and came back with this award! She needed a couple head shots and I couldn't help but post this. She seriously has the prettiest eyes I have ever seen! Congrats Morgan...I know you will go very far!

This is Bella. Don't you just love that name? I'm a huge twilight fan, so Bella is an awesome name...not only that I once wanted to name my daughter that (one that I don't have :] ) but still...awesome name. I think this little girl is soooooooo cute though! She had to cutest clothes and so precious! I think I need to let everyone know to that I will be moving my blog. I'm going to get a bigger and better blog in the next couple of weeks! I'm not going to close this down, but I don't know how much I will be using it. But until then...keep checking this one! I'll be posting all the time...just like I am now!

Ok...

I guess I have resorted to videos instead of posting actual pictures. :] I promise I will be posting more pictures. I have 3 sessions I will be getting online by tomorrow...so should have more posted tomorrow!

On another note...does anyone watch The Bachelor? I just love him! And just so everyone knows, I am rooting for Melissa...and I don't wanna see DeAnna come back. Yes I am a little obsessed with this season.

Today

Well today has been an utterly wonderful day. We worked hard to get things around the shop done, met some new people today, talked about stuff for the Van Zandt County Fair...and well all and all this has been a wonderful day! I'm working now at the casa with my super cute kitty Molly in my lap. :] I'm going to update the website with new things for Seniors! Go check it out...good things for wonderful people!
